This is what is called carbon footprint or carbon emissions. Excessive carbon footprint poses a significant threat to our planet, leading to environmental changes, such as extreme weather patterns and declining air quality.

One of the strategies to mitigate the impact of carbon footprint is carbon offsetting. This strategy involves supporting projects that remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, such as tree planting projects, which will help to create larger green spaces and improve air quality. By participating in verified carbon offset projects like tree planting, we all can contribute to a sustainable, greener future.

The global crisis of COVID-19 has emphasized the importance of adopting sustainable practices and fostering resilient ecosystems. Aligning with this commitment, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, through the official promotional platform Indonesia.travel, collaborates with Jejakin to present a carbon calculator as one of the innovations in implementing green meeting initiatives at the World Water Forum. This tool empowers individuals to calculate and offset their carbon footprint, contributing to a greener future for the world.
